We are excited to present a groundbreaking new project created by aspiring developer Rafael Perez. With Superheroes Capcom OpenBoR, you’ll dive into classic Beat 'em Up action in a Superhero universe—where battles never stop, and intense combat with numerous opponents takes center stage. Your enemies wield powers as strong as yours—or even greater!
Innovative Features in the Game
This is the first Beta version, but it’s immediately clear that the creator poured his heart and soul into it. The OpenBoR team traditionally works with existing art libraries, and the Superheroes and Amalgam series have strong roots in this community. Previously, these titles were adapted to a standard 1:1 screen format, but Superheroes Capcom OpenBoR introduces a widescreen experience, featuring remastered and updated stage designs.
New Characters & Game Modes
One of the most exciting additions is the diverse selection of playable characters across three distinct game modes, with more to come in future updates.
Superheroes Mode – Play as legendary superheroes in thrilling battles.
Supervillains Mode – Step into the shoes of powerful villains.
Amalgam Mode – Unique characters combining the strengths and abilities of two or more superheroes for an entirely new gameplay experience.
